So I had a 99 xj that I bought lifted but the rod started to knock so I sold that and I bought a 2wd 2 door xj. Since there is no point in going off road with a 2wd Jeep I wanted to get a nice stance to it. I was thinking lowering it about 2-2.5 inches and getting wheel spacers. I just need some suggestions on how to lower it. I’ve looked into it but haven’t found much luck. I found this picture on google and this is what Im looking for.
There are quite a few threads on various forums on how to lower Cherokees and the same info applies to the front of a Comanche, but the leaf spring set up in a Comanche is spring under vs spring over. The info is out there if you google. The Jeep you posted a picture of I know for sure has a thread because I read it all. There's a blue one too that is lowered with a thread
