Default Lower control arms?

I have a 3" lift right now and I am using the stock lower control arms. I want to lift it another 2" and I will be needing some longer lower control arms I have read in the junkyard parts thread that the WJ rear lower control arms or the JK upper rear control arms are longer and will work in the front of an XJ, Has anyone tried this? The cheapest I have found longer aftermarket LCAs for is $120, and I can get the new WJ or JK control arms for half that.

so a 5inch lift total? Idk man imo once you hit 4.5 inches and above you shoukd go long arms... but if not your going to need control arm drop brackets as well. I think I've read about the wj control arms, but not sure if they woykd be sufficient for a 5 inch lift.

I am going to put a heavy duty bumper and winch on the front also so that will bring the front down some.

half inch at most, at least my setup did haha. Regardless,I still think you will need drop brackets if you opt against long arms. I think the wj arms worked up to 3 inches of lift but not 100%
