Hello! I have a 97 xj and have recently been trying to figure out a sound I've been having.
To start, Its the straight 6 4.0l, lifted 4.5" on 33" tires. The steering is all stock, no upgrades.
While I'm at low speeds, and my foot is off the gas, I get a weird sound coming from the front of the jeep, kinda sounds like something is vibrating and loose. BUT, this only happens when the wheel is just barely turned to the right. You can feel the vibration, but you can noticeablly hear it.

Yup, hub/bearing or axle u-joint, pretty limited number of load bearing rotating parts in the front end. Could be something simple but hard to spot though as well, tire cupping, slightly bent rim, etc.
