I would save for just a little bit more, something like fst 3 link will work great at that lift, i think the problem with the radius arms is there's not enough adjustment in then to accommodate caster adjustment at 3".

I have the Clayton radius long arm kit on my 3" and I have plenty of caster adjustment.

Gotcha, I definitely want long arms, another idea I had was to design my own kit, at school I have access to any program I may need to design it and I have a friend in my local Offroad club that is more than capable of helping me build it, I may do that

Another question, with having so much extra droop, would it be a good idea to go ahead and get brake lines that could accommodate say, a 6.5" lift?

Sweet that's what my plan was, I gotta get longer ones anyway so I'll go ahead and get them for a bigger lift

Yeah brake lines were next on the list of things to do, along with steering, I stretch mine with a 3" short arm lift. Now that I've decided on a low cog rig I'll plan for mad droop haha

Just curious. I've always liked LCoG XJs which is how my first Jeep was setup. I was looking for a new Jeep and with time running short I ended up getting a 95 XJ with the 6in RC short arm lift and adjustable lower and upper control arms that are fully extended. And I have some crazy angles going on under there. I'm curious what I would need to do to drop it down to a 2-3inch lift. I'm not sure what all EXACTLY is done to it because the PO did not have any idea and I had to take a risk with it. And I'm just looking for a general idea, if anybody could point me in the right direction. Thanks guys.

3" springs, shocks should be OK depending on length, you may end up with more droop and a longer shock. measure the arms to see the length adjusted all the way in.

you might be able to just put 4.5" springs and be set, more droop with longer shocks and all.
