I dont want to hi jack the thread but while u have alot of people answering questions here might as well try before i start a new one.

With a 3.5 inch lift has anyone seen or heard of people needing a transfer case drop or an sye?
Is it nessecary or would you need new upper control arms for a 3.5 lift?
And for a 3.5 lift do you need a track bar or is that for 4" or higher or does it all vary?
Finally would control arm drop brackets drom the control arm angle too much or would it be as level as stock?

1. Yes, see my 3.5" thread i started
2. No
3. You can drill another hole but people say you might as well buy an adjustable that works from 3-4.5"

Alright guys, I think I'm going to go with the RE 3.5 and 31s. I'll post my final questions and all tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again!

Okay another question... I probably should stay at 3.5" because this sees 95% highway vs 5% trail (although I took the Wrangler trailing today and WOW - new BFG KOs my dad got rock!). 31s and 3.5" looks great anyhow! To me, 3" is too small, but 4.5" with 31s look awkward in some cases. So, I'm probably going with the 3.5" lift - hey it's the cheapest option right now too! Free shipping helps a lot, I only have to buy shocks, which will make it at about $610 with the $125 discount added in, still over $70 cheaper than RC's 4.5" (not including a ~$65 shipping charge) with the same features but with shocks too.

Anyhow, what's the difference between RE's two 3.5" (apparently you get a little more than 3.5"!) lifts in terms of the lower control arms? The only reason the one is more expensive is because it has "superflex joints" on the lower control arms and quick discos? Do these joints really make that much of a difference?
If I go with the cheaper one here is what I will have... (best option I think)

-3.5" leaf springs
-discos (not quick, but I heard you can mod em quick for cheap?) + sway bar endlinks
-lower control arms
-3.5" coil springs
-18" rear brake line
-NEED: shocks: RC Nitro ~$140, cheap recommendations?
-NEED: 8.25 axle U-bolts: ~$40
-NEED (in every lift kit): steering stabilizer [COLOR="red"](do I need a kit?? - link me please?)

FINAL QUESTIONS:
1. For 3.5" and/or 4.5" lifts, do I need upper control arms?
2. What do you guys think? Am I missing anything?
3. Will I need a new front brake line with 3.5"?
4. Do 3" lifts need new control arms/brake lines?
5. What about bump stops? How much are they and do I need to swap out my factory ones?

ALSO THAT SALE IS ENDING IN 2 DAYS OVER AT 4WHEELPARTS.COM, SO HELP ME ASAP PLEASE

How are these shocks? - http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...ShockingES1000

or these - http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...2fESK010634RXT

or should I just stick with some basic RC Nitros?

RC would be cheapest, then procomp, es1000,es3000,es9000, then RE twin tubes...

that lift is pretty much complete. i would suggest new rims with at least 4" bs and 31"s. as far as the front brake lines go you should just relocate the line . You dont need to worry about bump stops till its all together so you know how much youll need. Control arms are fine but youll want new ones if you ever bump up your lift.

Es 1 3 or 9000?
And if I go 3" lift, will I need control arms or any sway bar stuff? If not, I might do that because itd save a ****ton of $ and it's only .5" less.

And what exactly do I need for relocating a brake line?

i have the 9000. your control arms will be fine. look into quick discos for the swaybar. and you just need to drill a hole lower on the inner fender well for the clip on the brake line. will give you an extra inch or two.

What's the different between es 1000, 3000, and 9000 procomp shocks?
And are the RC Nitros good? Or should I get the procomps?

Also what about this: http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=XLK

It's a rear AAL but has shackle too? Thoughts?

EDIT: NEVERMIND
actually, it's definitely a cheap option.. would the AAL be supported by the shackle well? My Jeep only has 98,000 miles on it, so the leaf packs might not be all that worn down.

Alright guys - I really need your help!

Here's what I put together: I calculated everything I would need (steering stabilizers, shocks, shipping etc..) for each lift and added the totals.

-RE 3.5" SuperRide: 694.96 (with Pro Comp ES9000 shocks - ARE THESE BETTER THAN RC's NITRO)
-RC 3" basic - 604.85 (but reuses almost everything!)
-RC 3" better - 708.85
-RC 4.5" basic - 779.85
-Iron Rock - 575.98 (w/ nitro shocks and ALL/shackles)

So I crossed out the better RC 3" and RC 4.5", so I am left with:
-RE 3.5"
-RC 3" basic
-Iron Rock

Help a bro out please! The 4wheelparts.com sale ends soon. I really need help deciding on shocks if I go with 3.5". Also, for the basic RC 3", I would need to get sway bar endlinks and discos and control arms if I were to ever add height, right?
