No deal. Find a local guy in his home garage that works on jeeps.

Unreasonable prices and bad advice. I would go elsewhere or do it yourself.

Yeah id have to agree but I think I'll nip that one in the rear so I don't stress about getting the right length myself. Will also handle the alignment out of the shop too. But setting the caster for 230$??? Can I get away with doing myself with a caster gauge? What's it got to be at? 4-6° to the rear?
Where in fl im north of tampa 30min. Im at 5.5" same sye and use a older zj front drive shaft in the rear under $100 for d.s. and rebuilding it, front shaft is stock. Had a local shop specializing in jeeps and correcting tire wear do a 4 wheel alignment readjusting EVERYTHING on the rack for $49

You let a "jeep shop" sucker you into a 4 wheel alignment on a cherokee with leaf spring rear suspension? There's no adjusting the rear wheel alignment unless it's linked or independent rear suspension.

Yes but, because the rear axle is fixed, it is the reference point for wheelbase, for setting trackbar, and referencing it can determine if there is something tweaked between all four wheels.
..From the factory the wheelbase differs from right to left side..

Many tire shops will provide an alignment printout for no charge.

That's known as a thrust angle alignment, not 4 wheel since there can be no adjustments done in the rear

Thrust angle alignment is not a thing in most aligners so 4 wheel is what you choose. In fact in the newer Hunter systems like what I have you don't choose between 2 and 4wheel. You simply input the vin or custom specs and do the alignment. Also there are adjustments that can be made in the rear such as tweaking axle to spring location. Or even changing front leaf mount location when installing new leaf spring mounts. I have done all of these over the years.

I wasn't suckered into anything, i have long arms, cross over steering, and ota track bar. And the unibody is tweeked from backing into a tree. There shop manager is a jeep guy and specializes in correcting tire wear. My time is worth more then that $49. I can also do 80mph one handed can you? Suncoastautomotiveinc.com

I can and I definitely don't need a shop working on my rig to achieve that. I take pride in building and working on my own stuff.

Same here I've built everything myself and installed everything myself. Again with 2 small children my time is worth more then the cost of an alignment.

That's awesome, but not everyone can or even should attempt certain things. Someone who bolts on a bumper they bought or who built their own bumper can have the same amount of pride in their vehicle.
