Default Long arm set up

ok so im waiting for my long arm kit ima trying out the dirt bound mid arm kit with dual uppers its a diy kit so i can make my arms any length my question is wats the best way to get the axle centered an extended out? im running ima say 5.5 in lift my thoghts were to make jack stands for ride height then take the coils out an move the axle as needed bout then wont know when the coil is strieght so anyone that has done a diy or bilt yor own long arm kit advice is nice thanks

how far forward do you want to move the front axle? cuz i really dont think you can go very far without screwing with the driveshaft, coils, brake lines, and steering components.

I just wanna straighten out the coil cause I get bad coil bind right now

Measure from the point of the arm mount to where you want the center of your hub to be. if you want to stretch add an inch or so.

Im stretched in the front about 2 inches. No negative affects.

make those arms as long as you can. mid arm setups shouldn't be radius arms. tons of caster change and more binding than a long arm setup. as for figuring out axle placement, I have never had an issue by simply measuring. you can also hang a string with a washer tied to end from the bumpstop towers and line them up with the coil buckets.

I spaced the drop string how lame am I lol how I set up my hot rod haha an as of caster to much pos caster never hurt any one lol
