So I ordered a 27 spline locker from them 3.5 weeks ago...the website said 1 week availability which I was fine with but after a week of not even getting an order confirmation or payment confirmation I sent them and email. Their response was tat the 27 spline was a new product and had some delays. Again, reasonable ,but I figured that's what the 1 week wait was for. They said it would be shipping out early the next week..... So after a week of it not being shipped I sent them another email just to inquire about when it would be shipping....and now I haven't heard from them in almost a week.....anyone deal with them like this? Is it maybe just how they run things ?

 

I bought my front locker from them. Never got any order # or shipping #. The locker just showed up. You should be fine.

 

I ordered my Dana 30 locker and 3-4 days later it was at my door. Came all the way from Australia.

 

Try calling them. Seriously.

 

dana 30s where on back order when I ordered mine with but they showed they had some available via there ebay store. I ordered the 30 on ebay and the 29 spline 8.25 direct, they both showed up 3 weeks later on the same day. no emails, updates, nothing. Give it more time if a month goes by then freak out.

 

I guess I'll give them untill Monday and give them a call....hopefully it'll move things along at least

My 8.25" locker took almost a month. A year later when I ordered my D30 and expected it to take forever, it showed up super quick. I don't think they are hosing you.

 

It's tax season so a lot of companies have a ton of back ordered items. Phone calls are the best way to get in contact with anyone.

 

Got a response... The only thi g that puzzles me is he says it'll ship the end of the week....it's Friday already...and my new question....who actually uses "fortnight" as a measure of days/weeks?

Fortnight isn't a common word in the US. You're dealing with an Australian company and fortnight is commonly used there.

 

From what I've heard you order a locker you never hear anything from them and then it shows up at your door. For them to send you a message explaining the delay seams like a good sign.

 

I ordered one from them about 2 months ago. They sent a confirmation email with a tracking number. It took exactly 4 days from ship to delivery. It rode a 747 from Australia to San Francisco and then switched to UPS and rode another 747 to Chicago. And from there it came by truck. Funny thing is it takes longer to get something from a vendor on the west coast than Australia.
