Default lockers info ..!

i have jeep xj 1990 limited with 30 and 35 dana's
with rear LSD ... also np242 transfer case .... can i put a front locker ??? what type of locker??
the transfer case has full time and part time ...?!!! what is the difference between them and if i bought a locker can i use full time and part time or what ?

If you put in a selectable locker you can still use full time. If you put in an auto-locker than using full time on the street will break parts

i have the 242 tc, i put in the eaton e-locker its a selectable & works great . can be open or full locked, plus no noisy compressor or air lines to leak. it aint cheap but the best stuff never is. this is in the d30 , have a detriot in the rear.

do you have vacuum disconest axle?

The axle housing will have a/some vacume lines going to it on the right tube

Nope.

And those Jeeps got the same gas mileage as the ones with selectable.

In mid-91, the factory ditched the CAD (selectable) even when equipped with the 231 transfer case.
