I'm curious to know how much snow you get in California to argue this.

lol, coming off real bright on that one. Utah and Tahoe get the most snow of anywhere in the US that I know of. Kirkwood (ski resort that I frequently go to) is at 735-748" this year, thats over 60 feet, average is 500" or so. And that often comes in 30-80" in a weekend

I like being locked in the snow....

with one or not you just have to know how your vehicle reacts in any driving condition.

the whole locker in the snow bull**** is blown way out of proportion. i live in new england and its safe to say we get ALOT of snow. i run aussie lockers front and rear, and i've NEVER had a problem. just don't drive like an idiot, if you wreck in the snow its because your driving like a moron, NOT because of lockers.

i live in duranngo co, (very near silveton) and although my jeep is not yet locked, i have driven locked jeeps in the snow many times before. and i have to agree with rweaver. if you dont drive like an idiot, the lockers are very nice for getting through deep snow or just making it up an icy hill.

Dude, that's barely even considered California. You're so close to the state line it almost doesn't count. That's not REAL california. But I will say that is a crap load of snow to get. On this coast we know Cali for it's beaches. To us snow doesn't exist there. We get enough here that we don't want to hear about it anywhere else. haha!
