Hey all. First post here. Just bought a 2000 cherokee from my uncle. Bone stock. Of course within a week I had a 3 inch lift on it with 31 inch tires. (Just a start) Well I ordered a 50 inch china light bar ebay special bc I'm low on funds and have am having a little trouble with the wiring. Im assuming I need to wire the relay(30 amp fuse) to a positive and ground along with the switch?? Is there anyway to wire to the fuse box? Or should I wire the positive directly to a positive power source. Thanks for the info!
use a relay and a fuse. use this diagram. change the wire size to something more adequate if needed.
except for this diagram show using 2 lamps, you only have one light.
did the bar come with its own harness, because i wouldnt know how that one is put together. i build my own according to this.

Thanks for the diagram.Yes it has its own harness. My question is basically where is the easiest place to tap into a positive for the switch in the console?

i just run mine to the + on the battery. or you can find where something is getting 12v from the fuse panel
The way I do all of my lights is power the switch with a wire from the battery Positive with an in line fuse, a good ground, and then just ground the light to a good ground and the positive wire from the light goes to the switch.

I've used the positive behind the radio or the power outlet positive.
