Default Heater hoses

The heater hose from the tstat goes to the top or bottom of heater core? Mine is a 89 renix thanks

no I'm i ditched the heater control valve and i want to know what way to run the hoses?

Two different sizes. 3/4's and 5/8's. Just hook up to the respective fittings.

There's no valving inside the core, just hook it up however it fits. Some are one way, some are the other way, makes no difference.

The upper hose from the tstat is 3/4, the lower hose to the pump return is 5/8. The fittings on the heater core are also sized. Just match the hose to the fitting.

i used 5/8 on both. i followed a video i saw on youtube i just want to double check with all you guys to see if anyone has bypassed the heater control valve thats all.

so am i correct with how i ran it then? t-stat hose to bottom of heatercore and top of heater core to water pump?
