Lifter tick cam swap
Alright, so I drive a 1992 Cherokee Laredo and when I bought it, it had a tick. It also has broken motor mounts and every gasket leaks. I'm thinking I'm just going to take it to the shop and have them replace all of the gaskets, replace the stock motor mounts with the brown dogs I bought, and while I'm at it, might as well have them swap out the stock cam with a comp cam kit from summit (comes with lifters). I'm new to working jeeps, actually cars in general, so that is why I'm not doing it my self. My question is, if I do the cam swap, what cam should I go with that will add torque and hp while still working with my computer? I'm not super worried about mpgs, just looking for a good sounding engine with added performance.

there's only 1 cam.
you need intake/exhaust air flow mods at a minimum.
depending on cam lift, stiffer springs, although stock springs are good for most cams
grab some gaskets and start learning your way around these motors. Very easy to work on. The stock cam is fine.
