Please let me know if I'm off base here, but what drive shaft do you have in the rear? The stock single cardan or a double cardan drive shaft. A single cardan drive shaft should be set up with the transfer case rear face angle and the rear differential angle equal. The double cardan is set up with the rear differential pointing straight at the SYE. This is right isn't it?

This was one of my issues when I was trying to get rid of my vibes. When you lift the front of the Jeep, the top of the pinion rotates forward. You can add shims into the control arm pockets if you don't have adjustable control arms to lengthen.

This should explain it better for the OP.

Freegdr ask if you were filling the vibs in the steering wheel. I didn't see a response. I'm just reiterating this because of the speed the vibs start. 60 -65 is where DW like to rear its ugly head. Granted I'm sure you could tell full on DW but you might be experiencing some early stage DW. How the steering up front look?

Never had a smooth hack n tap yet.

Just saying......

You can remove the rear shaft and drive it also. See if it eliminates the vibes.

Also check for pinion movement.

The only way to really know if the joints are good is to remove the shafts and inspect. Also check front axle joints.

The rear make sure your drive shaft is balanced right if you haven't done that already. Also one of my friends had his pinion yoke nut on the rear axle that started to come off and caused his vibes. Before that his drive shaft had gotten bent too. Try your front shaft and place it in the rear to see if that helps out.

Does the vibes happen when you are on or off the gas?

Ive experienced death wobble, and this isnt it. Its like a deep vibration I can feel in my seat. Steering seems pretty solid. I have tried the front ds i the rear with no change, but that was a while ago so i could give that another go.

Ok so weve eliminated tires rims and ds being cause. Have you had someone follow you in another vechicle checking for visual shacking yet ?
