Lift Questions
So as far as I can discern, I have about a 2" lift in the front of Uncle Jesse. The back to me doesn't appear to be lifted at all, and I attached some pictures to see if someone could verify that suspicion or tell me I am wrong. I'll see what people have to say about this first before moving on to my next questions. Thanks!

Looks lifted to me. What size tires are those? You have after market springs and shocks, looks like an "add a leaf" in the rear. Your break bleeder valves need covers.

Yes measure but check for the correct measurement first to see what you have. It does look like a lift with an AAL but the rear leafs are sagging and tires aren't stock for sure.

I agree, looks like a small lift that is sagging in the rear.
Another measurement you can do is from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare. Stock is about 17.5" front and 17" back.

Ok so a few details: rancho struts all around, distance from axle to frame rail: about 7.25", and tires are 31x10.5 so definitely not stock. Im guessing sagging springs. The last guy who owned it did the lift, and judging by the rest of the work he did I assumed that it was a possibility he didn't lift the rear lol.
So what would be my best option to get that rear in order? Overall in terms of lift I think I want to keep it at about 2" front and rear, and cut the fenders for more tire clearance. I also want to replace the struts with Bilstein 5100's.
Thanks for the help.

You can do "bastard" packs where you add leafs from another XJ or S10.... You can also get longer shackles... You can also just get full replacement leaf packs... Just depends of how much you want to spend...

How about a picture looking along the leaf springs? You can see the sag if they are sagging. New shackles wont fix sagging springs, but new springs will.

Ok time to revive this thread. Yes, the leaf springs are sagging and even more so now.
I am thinking I like two options
1) Buy stock leaf springs and attach the cheaper lift that I already have to them for the time being
2) Buy aftermarket lift springs and possibly polyurethane spacers for the front if need be to level out the height.
My issue with going with a slightly larger lift is I fear that I will get vibration above 55 MPH, just because I don't trust that the previous owner took the necessary steps to properly modify my vehicle. Right now with the setup I have, at 90 MPH it still rolls like a Benz. What should I look out for to indicate what sort of job he had done? Spacers on the transfer case?

My suggestion would be to start from scratch with a budget lift a 3" with full leafs/coils/shocks/hardware. You will need an Adj. Track Bar and possibly a TC drop kit just have to see if it's needed or not, SB extensions or disconnects.
The rest you can get by with your stock items if you relocate the brake line bracket they will be long enough. Do it right the first time with the entry level lift but use those parts suggested above.
