Personal opinion....................the OE ride height of your average XJ looks ridiculous so by all means, lift it.
My springs are sagging so it looks even worse. I intend to put a 3" lift on mine, which will essentially make it sit about 5 inches higher than it currently does if I don't add bigger tires..

Agreed and that's setup looks super clean! Anything bigger just looks like a raw offroading machine!! Which is sick but may not always be what you want! This is my setup for now. RC 3" N2.0 and BFG 31x10.5 r15

Whoops... I did that post via Blackberry, from work. Kinda rushing.
[QUOTE=KJamesJR;1846141]Awesome, I'm getting my paint done as well. Want to keep it factory color because I don't see a whole lot of dark purple XJ's. How much did it run you if you don't mind me asking?
I got like a 2nd stage paint job at Maaco and it came out to about $750. Other places arent as cheap but im starting to have some problems with the clear coat finish on the hood not handling the summer heat so I would suggest reading reviews on places and comparing prices and warranty's before making a decision. I think mine has a 2-3 year warranty so im gonna take it in sometime before the end of the month to have it looked at and hopefully redone.

Leave your rear on if you want better handling but it might screw your stock rims up and dent your unibody up a little if you flex it.

Was that including the body work? Took mine in for a quote, they said roughly 450 for a single stage, economy job.

No. I didn't have any body work done. My car was in pretty good condition and I didn't change the color so they didn't need to paint the insides of the doors and stuff. $450 is a good price! I think mine was around that price but what killed me was the labor because i had them do all the sanding and primer work
