In the midst of installing a Clayton Offroad 4.5 inch long arm lift and noticed the exclusion at the bottom of the instructions that state "For Offroad Use Only". I can understand the exclusion to some degree since they are not responsible for the installation of the kit. I guess my question is that if I were to ever be involved in an accident, would my insurance company be able to deny any type of coverage based on that exclusion on the lift?

Every lift kit I have ever seen or installed said the same thing.
It's basically a CYA for the people who made it cuz they don't put anywhere NEAR the amount of R & D into them as the OEM does.
And if you do modify your stock vehicle in any way, it's gonna be on you if things go bad. If you put that lift on, and are in an accident that kills someone, they are gonna try & come after you for putting off road use only stuff on your on road used truck.
Just like those nice headers on that V8....by putting off road use only, the maker doesn't have to certify them for noise levels or smog or anything really.

Thankfully I have a daily driver, so not too worried about it, but don't guess I put much thought into it before.

I would talk to your insurance,If the lift made you roll the jeep over they could use it not to cover you if they wanted.
