Question About Modification For a 2 Inch Lift...
I appreciate any input/help I can receive. Getting ready to add a 2 inch lift from Supreme Suspension....basically the coil spacer/shackle kit...... I plan on running 30X9.50-15 Goodyear Canyon tires on 15x8-4.5 bolt pattern wheels....I also plan on adding a set of shocks that came off of a 2014 Jeep Rubicon, with only 15 miles on them at the time of removal, basically new.....Here are my 3 questions about modification....1. Is a 2 inch lift high enough for the Rubicon shocks to work? 2. Will I have to adjust the track bar...I've a drop bracket kit...or buy an adjustable?? 3. Will I have to buy extended sway bar links?? I appreciate any help in advance....

I just put the same lift (from Amazon) on my 98 and I used all the stock stuff. I didn't have to move the brake lines, or readjust the track bar or change the shocks. However I did have to use the t-case drop spacers to get rid of a slight vibration.

I did forget to grab my coil spring compressors before starting so to get my springs in and out I just dropped the steering linkage off the axle and disconnected the lower control arms to lower it enough to get the springs out.

Your steering will be off a little with even a two inch budget boost. Adjustable trac bar is a good idea. If you can't afford one at the moment, you can get a drop bracket for about 14-20 bucks. That will hold you over untill you can afford one.

I had a lift consisting of 3 in coils, add a leafs & Rubicon shocks. Other than a alignment no other adjustments were needed. It was in a 98 but all Jeeps are different.
