Default Lift kit opinion

What do you all think of this?
http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-sus...70-config.html

I have a stock 1998 jeep xj sport, its leafs are hundred percent flat and the shocks dont do their job. Will this lift make it run smoother/more stable? Also with this lift would tires could I fit on it?

Hahaha I didn't mean it like that, but my suspension literally is bad, if I ever had to swerve at high speeds I don't think it would be very pretty. It is just a big concern to me at this point

I have a friend with this kit, he likes it well enough, a ride very similar to stock. but has had some problems with a drive line vibration, so may have to shim the axle if you run into the same problem. Also, if your rear leafs are completely shot would it not be best to just get new packs for the rear?

If you're more concerned about the ride quality I'd look at rubicon express with some bilstein shocks. If your leaves are shot, you'll want new leaf packs. I'm assuming that's the 4.5in kit you're looking at, you'll want 3.5in leaf packs with extended shackles, it will ride better than 4.5in packs.

No it is a 3 inch AAL kit. OP it has already been said you need a full leaf pack. AAL are really not that good even with good stock springs. OME will give you the best ride comfort, but seeing the kit you are looking at leads me to believe that's out of your price range. Zone kits are priced decent. RE is a little higher with good shocks. Just do yourself a favor and get a full leaf pack or take some time reading and build your own bastard pack.

Do it once, do it right.
Save up for the RE lift.
