Default Moving the stock radiator forward 1-1.5 inches

Just like the title says, I've been working on this as to keep my pulleys from shifting forwards again and ruining my DirtBound Offroad cooling fan set up. My question is has anyone done this? I'll post a pic of my progress tomorrow, if you any input or pics please post.

Just did this you only gonna get about 1 inch,,back of grills gotta be trimmed out to move condenser forward ac lines wont let it go much more than that.I used a uni bit from harbor freight moved rubbers in frame up and plenty of room for grand Cherokee clutch fan upgrade and 3 row rad.

You shouldn't have this problem. How are your motor/trans mounts ?

i broke one, but replaced it, but the tolerance between the old mechanical pulley is minimal, so I wanted that cushion. and since i'm running all electric fans directly on the radiator I don't lose any airflow while sitting still

Nothing im running stock cooling setup so I just moved the bottom to compensate for tc drop angle to match motor angles . Most likely gonna have to cut back where filler neck is and slot two mount screw hole on top.

I did not like the narrow clearance between grand Cherokee fan clutch and new three core .Having the added extra I have now give me a better pc of mind.

First off, the OEM mechanical fan pulls waaay more air than the junky dirtbound fans.

Second, 93XJLI is right. If your motor mounts are in good shape then the radiator is good right where the factory put it. Sure seems like ya'll are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I don't understand why people run ZJ fan clutches. The stock one is fine and doesn't cause fitment issues.

I don't get it either. I've never had a single issue with my cooling system at any temp.

If it's taken care of then it should keep the engine cool just like it did the 20 years it existed before ya got it.
