lift help.
I'm going to pick up a 97 xj and I'm wanting to put a 6.5" lift on it with 33"s. I have been looking at the rough country 6.5" x-series lift kit.
My question is what else would i need to make it reliable for a dd and to take off road every once in a while.

My brother is running a 6.5" lift on 33" tsl he is running stock crossmember no spacer. Stock swaybars and sterring and stock lower and upper control arms. He had to trim the snot out of the fenders but he also is running a 5.5" backspaceing M/T wheel.

Hate to break it to you but he didn't trim the snot out of thr fenders. He barely trimmed to the spot welds, there's still plenty of fender flare on there.

Doing the math, that jeep...stock UCA and LCA on 6.5", no SYE, bald thornbirds (they suck when they're not bald anyway). Don't take anything that was done to that jeep as being worth doing

If you dont mind me asking what is your setup on the keep in the link above. this is exactly what I'm look for.
when i do the SYE will i have to get the drive shaft modded or a new one.
I have around 2300 to get a lift and a set of tires.
Thanks for the help so far.
