For $100 extra you can get the ironrock offroad 8" lift, $30 can get 2" coil spring spacers, and for $50 more blocks in the rear. Bumpstops aren't expensive either. For half the price of the ACOS setup you could be at the same height with good bumpstops not worrying if it will come out of adjustment. That's just my 2 cents though. As for air ride as a lift option (just my opinion again), would be pointless. Air ride system's aren't designed for flex, they are designed for carrying heavy loads, being able to raise and lower height of a vehicle, or just making it a more comfortable ride. Again just my 2 cents.

Thanks! I have been thinking air ride for awhile, but didn't know how it'd handle. I hadn't really thought about going with bigger than 6.5", but you do make a good point for the xtra 100$. Heck, I WAS only thinking of 4" until I started looking at IRC.

I was only thinking 6.5" from RC or IR. Then I went to the Ironrock website, and saw the 8" for $100 more. Shoot only $100 more for 1.5" more lift...HECK yeah haha. Just money to do it is gonna be crazy. There will be lift, sye, drive shafts, beefy axles, tires + wheels, etc. I hate waiting to be able to buy stuff for my xjs.

If you got a 4.0 you don't need to worry about extra weight from a swap to a small block v-8 ...maybe a big block ,but not a small block since the 4.0 weighs 515 lbs it weighs more than some small block v-8 and just a few pounds less than than most...like 25 lbs less .
