Default Let's talk about upgraded clutches pressure plates and flywheel

So my 88 cherokee needs a new clutch. What are the best choices ?

I just use oem in my weekend warrior. Have not blown a disk yet.

I drive mine semi daily and I would like a more positive grab. I will also be replacing the gear box with a stock replacement or something that won't require to much modification. My bearings are bad I hear it whining and it's loud in almost all gears I first and second it sounds like a dump truck

I'm guessing you have the BA10 5spd. Those things are time bombs. I swapped mine out for a AX15, I got the external slave assembly from dodge and a autozone clutch for a 94 XJ. Felt pretty good and solid after that. I have no complaints.

I've seen some guys over heat and smoke their disks before on the same stuff I've gone over.
I'm pretty sure it comes down to the driver.

If I swap in an ax15 is there any modification I would have to do ?
