Yesterday I had sent them a message on live help, since there was no confirmation email or tracking # sent out.
The reply was "it will appear once UPS scans the items"
39 hours later - still no email
I will not complain until after
the "6 boxes" do not show up on Monday by 1700
Think I might go fishin this weekend and rely on patience.

Dont sweat the lack of confirmation email. Their system is super slow or something. I stressed bout that too an called a couple days in a row asking bout it but on the 3rd day the ups man was at the door asking for help with all 9 boxes lol. If it doesn't show up on time call an ask for Jason. Been a lil bit since i have called but I think he is at 114. He will take care of u. There are some douches that work their like any company but he is a great guy to do business with.

Thanks for the info, i will take my frustrations out on the trout @ the lake tomorrow lol
I am also seeing alot of folks who are having other issues with steering, driveshafts, sye's and TC drops... I bet i'll be one of the lucky folks who has to do EVERYTHING!
Anyone ever seen the "Super-Flex" universal joint from Tom Woods? Any good?

There are pre-made kits from rough country (or any of their competitors) that would be your best bet
also, i might recommend checking with teamcherokeeDOTcom and invest in new rear leafs - as MANY XJ's sag

tons of people have issues with every brand, the RC joints do have issues. they will send you new one no questions asked all you have to do is call them and let them know. there are other options if they annoy you to change out or don't want to worry about them failing. currie makes joints that fit into the X series arms. http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/Product569.aspx?id=2629 these fit my long arms, should fit your arms too but double check...
I plan on going with these as i just don't want to ahve to change the joints out after every other trip. good luck i am happy with the quality of my long arms and happy i went with the RC kit even if i have to buy new joints...
the front is coils, spacers work well for a budget they just sit ontop of the spring, the rear is leaf spring so you need blocks to space it(go between leaf and axle), but would advise you get a new spring pack or make your own.

If you keep beating yourself up on price your never gonna lift it. I've lifted alot of jeeps and I now run a rusty's hybrid. I run Rusty's 4.5 coils ($149.00) on the front, a s10 bastard pack on the rear ($20.00 from the JY), and your choice of shock in your budget. The thicker s10 leafs gives the factory feel back to the jeep even though it's taller and let's me pull my pop up camper and utility trailer without fear of breaking springs. Here's a pick of my xj pulling a fully loaded pop-up and family over 300 miles through the WV mountains and wheeling while we were there. My jeeps (3 xj's) have this lift and no SYE's, T-case drops or vibes, but I might just be getting lucky....LOL

Blocks are bad (least that is the general understanding I have learned on here)
For 1.5" lift, RC has the shackle relocator, and there are adj. shackles out there.
I would only assume that would get you 2 - 2.5" of lift (possibly more)?

was mainly trying to explain that coil spacers wont work in the rear

1 inch for the relocation bracket and proper shackle angle (45*). and a 1 1/2" shackle list is a great way f0r 2.5" lift in the back.
