Default LED Light Bars

Hey everyone -- New here! Just picked up a stock 2000 XJ with 165k on the body and 86k on the motor! It's gray in color. I love it so far! It's in pretty damn great shape for an XJ. Looking to do a few tasteful mods, but nothing over the top.

First off is the lighting. Where does everyone buy their LED light bars from and what do you all use to mount them? I want the full length light bar and it must mount directly over the windshield at the front most portion of the roof. Drilling into the roof is a HUGE no-no. Do they make mounts for the light bars to attach to the gutters or insides of the doors? I saw a CARR brand mount but it costs $200.. F that. Anything cheaper but of good quality? Thanks guys!

I feel like this is pricey for a piece of steel. But this is what I am looking for.

I am wondering if I can get these to work...

I've been wanting one for some time. I ordered a eyoulife 42 in. light bar off ebay. It was $108 shipped to me & came with the mounts & wiring harness.

Light bar mounts http://www.farmerjohnsonoffroad.com/...-bar-brackets/ http://www.detoursusa.com/led-head.php http://hooliganoffroad.com/t/xj http://www.inspired-engineering.com/...Code=IE-v2xj50 http://www.omcoffroad.com/apps/webst...s/show/5449824 As far as what brand light bar depends your budget and do you have to run covers on it on the street in your state or not.If you got the money http://www.bajadesigns.com/ and http://www.rigidindustries.com/products are your high dollar brands.More of a budget
http://olympusoffroad.3dcartstores.com/ http://www.inspired-engineering.com/default.asp But whatever brand you buy make sure its rated ip68 so its water proof.Ip67 and lower can fog up and get dust inside them.

I have saw quite a few homemade ones around here and must say some were really nice after all they aren't rocket science and a simple piece to fab up.

The next time I'm out will try and take some photos of some if I see any.

Thanks guys! Seems like a great forum btw. I've been on other car forums for numerous years and this one seems very active. Can't wait to start modding!
