I installed a light bar on my XJ. The only way i could get power to it was to tap into the fuse box. I ran the wiring from the outside and just pinched the wire between the door and the weather stripping for the door. Now that it rains the water travels down the wire from outside and leaks on the seat inside. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I was thinking about cutting the weather stripping and pulling the wiring through to the other side of it so it seals properly. any ideas?

Look at your firewall from the engine bay driver side of the engine. There is a grommet there from the inside just stick a wire through grab the wire and pull it into the cab. Look for things that go through the firewall.
Do not run any wire though a door jam like that its ghetto and could start a fire one day.Drill a hole in the roof use a grommet run the wire fill the grommet with rtv or seam sealer,Then run the wire inside down the a pillar to the fuse box.
