leaf spring retainer clip ?
Okay. I have been unhappy with the amount of down travel in the rear for a while. I have figured out that when my suspension droops, the main leaf bottoms out on the bolt that goes through the retainer clip, and I believe that is limiting the travel. I don't want to remove the clips, but what about just simply removing the bolt that goes through them to allow the leaf to droop more. you can see in the pic where the leaf is hitting. I have also thought about extending the bolt how as high on the clip as I can and using a smaller bolt (1/4), but not sure how much that will do.

It might be good to maby just find another clip that is a Lil wider and mount on the top side so it makes a box just get a long bolt so it will run through both clips that way u get more travel and keep the leafs contained I'm trying it on mine soon as I get back from my hitch at work!
