I'm going to take a leaf off my old springs and add them to the new HD springs I installed a few years ago.
I want to get about 1.5" of lift.
Should I cut the eyes off the old springs and use the main leaf? Or should I use the next smaller one? The main leaf looks thicker.
Thanks.

Thanks for the answers. Does anyone know a good homebrew substitute for leaf liners? I thought of using plastic from an anti-freeze bottle, but I'm not sure how to make it stay in place.
