Default Leaf sliders

Is anyone running leaf sliders? I've been thinking about getting some for a while but I'm not too sure on it yet. Hows the install on them and what are some of the benefits that you get from them? Also what are the negatives to them? I've watched a few videos with them to see exactly what they are but I'm not sold on them. I'm not really sure if they are worth it or if they're just another way to exploit money from a jeepaholic.

heard of them, never met or talked to anyone that has actually used them. They kinda went the way of the drop/revolver shackle and the 3/4 elliptical setups of days gone by.

I've searched them and I just can't decide if they're worth it. I've only came up with videos of them being used and no reviews or other info on them besides what liquid irons site says

Good on the street, but if you wheel you'll want shackles. The length of the shackle aids in droop distance.

^ Nailed it.
Most leaf springs do not have enough arch in them to match shock down-travel (droop). With the exception of 'soft-ride' 3 leaf packs which are so soft they aggravate body roll and have poor handling at highway speeds, at least compared to BDS 7 leafs.

I know someone who put on the liquid iron sliders. Went out wheeling one time with them and went back to shackles. Lost a good amount of flex with them

They are probably great for autocross.

They work great! Better than my old shackle set up. I've had no issues really with them both on and off road. They are quiet and still provide all the droop I need. And they can take a beating. I instantly noticed a smoother ride in the rear.

Then you didn't have a proper shackle set up lol shackle relocators and longer shackles will give you smooth riding, lots of droop, etc...
