just a bit of advice - the BOLTS are the unique hard to find expensive items. The nuts are more standard and may be able to be picked up for much cheaper at a good hardware store (True Value or Ace nearby?)

Thats the other store I checked with. We have a local True Value and they said they couldnt find them in their catalogs (the bolts that is) so I didnt even think to ask about the nuts.

I just replaced my leafs with RC full springs and had to cut the old nuts and bolts out and I used 9/16X4.5 grade 8 with grade 8 nuts and washers about $30 at ACE.

Yeah.....leaf center bolts arent something that Id buy a different size type of. Theyre basically the only thing that holds the rear to the chassis. Why skimp $20 bucks on something like that? Like I said, Team Cherokee has them $49 bucks for a set of 6 nuts & bolts.

9/16ths vs M14 is .288mm difference heat and expansion is more than that. the stock ones are 4.7" long and have quite a bit hanging out of them so 4.5" will be fine. Grade 8 is still plenty strong for the weight that is on them at least according to spec hardened steel rated closer at about grade 10 (at least the menards ones)
