Ok so I know that it is possible to make anything fit but that being said how much fabrication is involved with putting a 2000 Land Rover winch bumper onto a 97 xj?

 

it really depends on your skill set and how the mounts differ. I would thin all you need to do it cut the rover mounts off and weld XJ ones on. I saw this bumper the other day and loved it. The Range Rover bumpers usually have a similiar look

 

it looks allot like that. its in a jy but you have to pay to get in just to look for what you need. it looks about the same size.

 

JY you say? You can get things pretty cheap there. I got my bumper for $50 at a JY.

another jeep. Lol. But I basically had to make new mounts for it,M they were bent to hell.

 

I bought mine from CL for $35 also is was off of an XJ.

 

This is still one of the sickest bumpers I've ever seen. But anyways, back to the subject. How much is the JY charging you for the bumper, if you can't make it work, you could always sell it on CL. Maybe even make a profit.
