Knocking from driveline while coasting or braking.
All of a sudden I'm getting a hard knocking sound/feeling when I coast or brake. It goes away under acceleration. It is directly related to the speed of the vehicle. Feels very solid, like a hammer knocking on the rear differential or transfer case. I do not have an SYE, just transfer case drop. Could this be causing it? I thought slip yoke issues were usually vibrations under acceleration but it's the only thing I can think of here.

did you pull the drive line to inspect it?
how many miles are on the rearend after you had it welded? I always changed the fluided after 500miles incase of slag.
aslo what kinda rear end do you have?
