Default K&N Cone in stock Air box??

Has anyone put a K&N (or other brand) cone filter in a stock air box. If so how and what filter did you use? I would like to because I have a snorkel.

Thanks

I actually took off my cone and put the factory box back in it and bought a k&n filter that fits the box and made an air duct that sucks from my windshield wiper area.

Yep, that's what I did. His looks better though When you accelerate you can really hear the air being sucked in. During the summer months with my cone filter under the hood the air was so hot my fuel mileage would drop from 15 to 13. Now I have a snorkel at least steering wheel high.
