It's now officially a 89 2dr with a complete drivetrain, fuel system, brakes and wiring from a 96. I finished up all the small stuff and got it in the paint booth on friday night. Heres how it looks now, came out pretty good for a jeep the previous owner was hauling off to scrap/// Saved another one..

Thanks guy's, it's a 4in lift on the front and 3 on the rear. The tire's are 33/10.50's, I decided to go with them so I can run them on the other jeeps too.

Pretty much done. I had a 2.5 exhaust and flowmaster installed, bored the throttle body to 62mm, built a cold air intake and dual electic fans. Anyone know any other tricks to boost the HP and torque on a stock 4.0....LOL Here's a pic, all that's left is a rear bumper that can she can be recovered from. I'm gonna do that today then go to inspection...Wish me luck....LOL

Here's a few video's of it's first run at are club offroad challenge. She took 3rd overall (1 point behind 2nd) and she was 3rd on the RTI which I thought was awsome for stock arms and short lift.

Wouldn't it be ideal for a mud racer to not have flares? I've always seen people remove fenders/flares or try to get the tires out past them so the mud can sling and not get built up in the fenders. I know with racing, every ounce counts.
