Hey y'all! I recently installed a Rough Country 3 inch lift on my 2001 Cherokee and have to say I feel like I should have gone bigger. The lift had new coil springs and AALs.
With that being said, any issue with adding small coil spring spacers and shackles to what's on there now? I don't want anything drastic. Just maybe an inch or so higher.
Thanks in Advance!!!

yeah, go for it.
did your kit come with any relocation brackets, or even an adjustable track bar? with that said, are your control arms adjustable? you may need to adjust these, and add relocation brackets, and possibly longer brake lines, including e-brake cables.
but no, there nothing wrong with adding coil spacers. maybe look into shackle relocation mounts. did your kit come with longer shackles, or just the leafs?

Few things:
Did you drop the transfer case?
Also, how old are your rear leafs? Maybe a new set of leafs with the add a leaf will get you a little more, and just some spacers up front.

i just noticed your kit only came with an add a leaf. maybe ditch those for a set of lift leafs. they're only maybe a couple hundred bucks. if you don't want to add shackles, order your leafs with an extra inch lift.

.......or simply replace them with full leaf springs the same height and add relocation brackets...will get you the extra inch AND add a lot better ride

Thanks all! I'll invest in some full leafs and add spacers for the coils. FYI, The lift kit is a RC Series II 3 inch lift. I also added the adjustable track bar to the mix. The leafs are original OEM.
I haven't dropped my TCase which may be the cause of my front drive shaft vibration. 🤔
Along with a 4 inch plus lift, I'm guessing a new pitman arm may be added as well.

Dropping the t-case only helps with rear driveshaft vibes...I actually makes the front angles/vibes worse. (see your other post too)
I'm at 4 1/2", and have no driveshaft vibes...and am still running a stock style pitman arm. The rest of the steering is 1 ton, but the pitman arm is a stocker that has been reamed to fit a 1 ton TRE.
The ONLY reason I have a steering stabilizer or swaybar even on the jeep is the state inspection peeps ask too many questions otherwise.
It drives awesome with neither hooked up, and once the state inspection for this year is done, they'll come back off.
