Default Where to get rear spring shackles just 1-2" higher

Ok talk me out of this if I'm being stupid. But I'm wanting to update my bushings on the cheap for better steering and ride. In the rear I'm avoiding getting full leaf springs b/c of the cost, so I'm just gonna press some new ones in.

Nother reason i'm avoiding new leafs is hopefully not too far down the road I'll be putting a whole suspension lift kit on and it seems like new leafs would just go to waste.

But for now, I'm sagging just a bit in the rear and would like to get back up to OE height, so I'm thinking for the rear leaf attach points I'm wanting some shackles that'll get me back up.

Where do you go to get heightened shackles that aren't part of a full kit?

Most if not all companies that make a lift for the xj sell lift shackles separately. Pick one that's in your budget and you're good to go.

Just google "lift shackles for a Cherokee XJ". Here's one example:

Any of the lift shackles are going to be hard on your oem springs. Seems like a lot of money to put out between the shackles and bushings to put in to old springs. Plus your talking a lot work.

my rear leafs (10yo lift) were sagged, i put 1" lift shackles from ebay in, put jeep back to level

it didnt take that long to swap them in, i would do it again to buy some time...i dunno how long i'll keep the jeep, so didnt want to put NEW leafs in

the shackle did contact the tailpipe, so that had to be adjusted.

you can also use chevy 1500 shackles for small lift or chevy drop shackles for more lift....google is your friend

Rocky Road Outfitters sells OEM springs if you just want stock height for a while before your lift. And shackles.

Thanks glad I got that info now.

Found these so I jumped on em...

Rough Counry with 2 height options for $10 less than retail b/c of open box. Brand new though. Looked like a deal.
