if someone has a mall crawler, then surely they care about the on road ride quality, and the one last big suspension mod on our jeeps to make them ride like a dream is long arms.
so people come to your shop wanting to lift their rigs and you suggest blocks and spacers?

what's wrong with long arms on a mall crawler?

I am currently working on a cj5 that has arb's front and rear. Dana 300, ford 9“, on board air, hd steering, full custom roll cage, etc
..... its a mall crawler.
WHat ever floats your boat.

Like I stated before. I am not saying blocks and spacers is the best lift at all. But for someonevwho is concerned about the ride. Along with good or new stock springs its a credible option.

I've seen your threads, just stop saying that blocks are a viable option. Ya you can say "I use block, they seem alright" but don't be actually trying to credit blocks as a better alternative, and yes you did say that they are a better alternative. You would have had better luck and less shi* thrown at you if you had been reasonable and said a bastard pack of xj/xj would give him a stock ride while giving lift

It's not credible, a bastard pack and spacers is a credible option, blocks are not.

..but you did say they are the best option. You scoffed at the idea of a nice kit and recommend blocks. Maybe you think aftermarket springs suck because you ran rc springs and have never had a full nice new pack on your xj. blocks should never be recommended. Want one inch of lift? shackle. want two? Shackle. want three? leafs and maybe a shackle.
Most people who post up asking about kits are not going to tackle a bastard pack. And if they did I could not say they would be better than new stock springs, most likely not.
You guys and your block phobias.... lol.
"I heard " "they say" "I have read" etc...It causes arguments.
If people spoke on the experience rather than hear say or vicarious opinions........you get the picture.

and better than new stock springs?!?!?! you smoking crack or something? these rigs are well over 10 years old!! none of these jeep are going to have new stock springs unless they got replaced which is highly doubtful. for the price (for your sake) of new stock springs, they could basically buy new ome springs and get a BETTER ride than stock. your argument is invalid

I'm speaking on my experience of my 3" daily driver yet capable offroad rig that has gone from all rough country which was a horrible ride to my ome springs now
The only thing that really needs work is my shackle angle but besides that it rides like a stocker

And that is valuable information.

For the record I did not say they were the best option. I repeated several times that I was not saying one was better than the other.
I simply stated they were an option that fit the op's bill.
And I said if I were to do it again, this is how I would do it.
Also I did not scoff at the idea of new springs. I said people would LOL if they knew where all the springs were made. Because of the "high performance " comment.
