JK UCA Axle Bushing For Larger Bolt
Has anyone used a JK UCA axle side bushing on their D30? Does it work? I dug up an old thread where it said that the JK bushing (MOOG K200187 I Assume) has a bigger bolt (m12 vs m10) and since I just went to a 3 link I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea. I have to change out the bushing anyways.

Yes you can. I put in the Iron Rock Offroad Flex Joint in mine and upgraded to 1/2" bolt size. Specs it for all Dana 30's including the JK. The bolt size is the only difference, you just have to drill out the holes in the UCA for the bigger diameter.
Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I would love to get a good flex joint but shipping & exchange rate (i'm in canada) make it cost prohibitive. Its only 11 bucks for a JK bushing though, so I will give that a go.
I'll report back in a week or so once i've done the swap!

Is there any reason to use this bushing other than the bolt size? Like is the bushing better constructed, longer lasting, ride better? Otherwise I dont see much of a reason for the bigger bolt, I have never heard of anyone breaking one.
Not knocking it, always good to have options, but IMO I wouldnt specifically seek out one bushing over the other if the only difference is bolt size.

I've been using it in my 3-link setup for about 3 years. I'd say there's extra piece-of-mind for 3-link setups.
I too agree that I've never heard of the factory 10 mm bolt shearing or failing, but you'd be amazed at the number of jackasses that come out of the woodwork on FB forums to say that its stupid to go 3-link because the 10 mm bolt could fail. When I tell them I'm using a 12 mm bolt, they act like its not any stronger.
Also, since its a bigger bolt and sleeve, there is less rubber, so the bushing will be a little firmer than the OE bushing.
