rock krawler makes a joint that runs a 9/16" bolt

currie makes a joint that runs a 7/16" bolt.

not sure of any bushings with an upgraded bolt size

you can run radius arms with those. you just need to run rubber bushings on the axle and where the upper control arm meets the lower.

I broke both upper control arms completely in half by hitting a large hole in the woods going lik 35mph.

The bolts were fine. I re-used them to bolt on uppers I got from junk yard.

Currie makes a 1/2" version too.

Why not make your own. Take a 2" od bushing assy (that you can get anywhere), have it turned down to the od of the OEM bushing, press it in, and put a few little welds to secure it. You'll get a 9/16" bolt too.

cool story. the bolts are still weak, the factory control arms were just weaker

When I redid my Dana 30, I "drilled" outa set of factory bushings to 1/2" the sleeve is ~1/2" with little nubs pressed inward that gives you the ~10mm ID. For drilling I used a TiAlN coated 1/2" end mill in a Bridgeport. Those little nubs are F-in' hard!!!!
