Jeep XJ Link Killer mod?
Quick question, I was already planning on running deavers on the rear of my cherokee and fully caging it., but then I saw this kit: http://giantmotorsports.com/index.ph...d=66&Itemid=67
Wondering if this will work the same as a rear coil-over conversion that some of the guys do where they cut through the rear and tie it into some shock hoops. Thanks in advance!

Did you see the shackle mounts for that? They are different than the factory ones. I suspect on a cherokee it would take almost as much work for that as a 4link, I'm assuming the "less work" part is why you were looking at those.

Correct. But I'm going to have two full size spares (35s) in the rear along with gear and its a four door so passengers as well. I figured a coilover conversion was out of the questions with that much weight.

No reason you can't run coilovers in the rear of a Cherokee, even if there is a bunch of weight. As long as you choose the right coils, tune the shocks properly, and have good link geometry. You may have to run a sway bar depending on lift height and shock placement but its definitely worth it for the ride and tuneability.

I think he just means plain old coil conversion. not coilover conversion
in any case. I've loaded up with plenty of camping gear, lots of heavy jeep spares, 35" spare, and a passenger and didnt have any sagging issues. just on 3.5" leaf packs. so unless you plan on towing something heavy along with it and loading up a roof rack too.. oh and good luck fitting two 35's IN the jeep with passengers and gear
