Does anyone out there know if stock Shocks/Springs off of a 09 Rubicon would lift a stock 93 cherokee? i thought for sure that rubicons came stock with a small lift kit on them?!?!?! right? anyways any info would help, a guy was selling some on craigslist... thx!!!

Oh, it's much worse than that. 09 Rubicon has coil springs in the rear where the Cherokee has leafs.

Ok but the shocks would be good to get if you are planning on getting a 3" lift or close to?

Just put a set on my son-in-law's XJ on Thanksgiving. Be prepared to do some work on the bottom end of the front and rear shocks.

Remove the bushings from the bottom of the new rear shocks so they fit over the XJ shock mount.
Remove the bushings from the bottom mount of the new front shocks. Remove the crossbars from the old shocks and press them into the new shocks.
