yes i have a gas tank, the muffler was welded on by a guy that uses to work at a garage. instead of telling me that it would hit the driveshaft if it was flat, he just welded it like that. ill try taking those shims out

He told you that. Get some clearance back. Cut and weld it back flat. And yea, even with an sye that angle would be too much. Good luck

I had the death wobble and i put new rims and tires on it and then the shake was gone but i had a vibration. ive replaced shocks, driveshafts, front u joints, steering shock, steering stabilizer, front calipers, front brakes, front rotors, and a couple other things that i cant remember right off hand. i also took the shims out of the rear leaf springs. it has the vibration at 45mph and continues to get worse. every once in a while there is a little shake but nothing bad.

If u had the rear shaft balanced or checked out by a drive line shop and they gave it the okay you might want to try removing the front shaft to see if the problem goes away. And I'm sorry but your not going to get a stock ridding jeep that's not stock. Its one of those things you have to deal with if there isn't an actual problem.

I took the rear drive shaft out and the vibration went away, so i got a new driveshaft and put it in and still had the vibration. i also changed the front lower control arms

Took the rear out and it went away? The maximum working angle of a single u joint is 4 degrees roughly based on the rpms your turning at 45. Are your angles over 4 degrees? Also a joint that is stiff regardless if its new ( could have been installed improperly and bent the yoke) could also cause it

Just because parts are new doesn't mean they can't be bad. Don't trust anything when diagnosing a problem like this unless you can confirm it. If you have a new ds, and you replace it with a different one with no change of symptoms, it is probably good. Work through each part systematically and you will find the answer. Throwing new parts on without a plan will just cost you money that you might not need to spend.
