Default IRO longarms on '86 xj body

I'm looking to purchase the iron rock offroad (IRO) long arm setup. I'm a little concerned that the current location of the tranny mount will conflict with the new cross member of the long arm setup. Also, is this a pretty decent setup for the cash, they seem to have good reviews and excellent customer service??

Call IRO. I called, they answered all my questions, and now i'm very pleased with my sye and drive shaft. I would have went with the IRO long arm kit but didn't like the 3 link front and went with the RC la instead. However, their heavy duty over the knuckle steering is looking realllly nice.

i can only imagine iro has an idea of what they are selling. theres probably a reason they dont list it fitting 86 and earlier xjs and id bet someone over there would be able to answer why and maybe work with him on making it work.

As long as we are talking about IRO, who has them and do they like the IRO long arms? I am also looking at pulling the trigger on their long arm setup, wondering about them being fixed length though? Seem great for the money

many people on the internets love them. but the people i wheeled with who have/had them hate them. i just think its a poor design for a few reasons
