Yeah great amount of returns lead to loss of funds leads to bankrupt. I'm happy you love re and have had no problems out of it, rustys is also a jeep only company with not so high prices, I've installed their kits since they have been around and have only had one issue myself ( track bar) I will agree with you on two things rc bushings suck a$$ and their shocks do too, their springs are stiff as hell but as for the quality of the long arms and kit in general ( again minus the bushings) its perfect, a well built unit

Workin at central for 4 years, I can't remember any returns with em. Lots of warrenty from people on the rubicon, but that was common with any kit, most people hate them cuz they push them too hard for what any kit was designed for because they say rubicon tested. Those are the idiots who hate them. Also RC I've seen em in the shop and everytime I get the paperwork its always the same, bushings, blown shocks and the occasional crack CA. And btw rustys stayed cuz their kits are flawless as well but cost 1/2 as much as RE.

I knew they were familiar I just asked the head mechanic here and he said the same thing as I thought. They are the same damn kit. Go look IRO and RC have the same parts just different names. So you'll get the same kit with whichever you order. That's why we don't carry it.

Actually they are way different, the IRO is a 3 link, and the RC is a 4link, which to me seems like it would hold up better, just not flex as well..

I was talking about parts, quality and manufacture... personally I wouldn't trust either one. IRO is RC in the sense they use the same components, now the 4 link will be the same as the 3 link just a little less likley to have sway that's about it.

Rc leaves aren't the same. Iro are military wrapped. Rc r not. Rc leaves r also very short. Rc coils r stiff as hell iro not so much. Iro uses one radius arm on the driver side and 1 link on the pass. Rc is a radius also but with 4 mounting points on the axle. They use different parts all together so how are they even remotely the same? I had a rc lift on my xj but in less the a year it had all been replaced. I'd run iro over rc any day. Replacing joints short leaves ****ty trac bar and stiff coils. For the money go with iro. If you want a quality lift go with rockkrawler bds or clayton.

Well I'm not one to spend 2k without doing as much research as possible on something. Im still at a stale mate, really the only thing that scares me about the IRO is the mount and adjuster, but from all the guys that run them...not a single person has had anything bad to say about the IRO, every single RC guy says the bushings are bad...I really like Rubicon express but im not sure the 2100$ for the kit PLUS shocks is worth it.

^that's not exactly true. Considering they both use track-bars I don't think that's an accurate description. A true 4-link is triangulated and does not require a track bar.

I would call the IRO system a "wristed" radius arm and I suppose you would call the RC kit the same but it has an additional wrist. I bet you they flex the same. Its rare you see the radius arms articulation as the issue, usually its body contact and/or shock length.

I've been running the IRO system for almost 2 years. Replaced a flex joint race once. I recognize the weakness of the single bolt and plan to use a solid bushing, up-size the caster adjuster bracket and increase the bolt size but it hasn't given me any trouble. I must not be hard enough on my truck... Or at least as others.
