I've never really been all that hot about rustys products, heard a lot of bad things about customer service also. Though I have no first hand experience.

Good to know, as I said I don't have any experience with any of these guys except IRO, as I bought their front tow hook mount system.

Les Schwab is a tire company on the west coast, id rather run the rustys cuz its better quality except the track bar. But also try Rubicon Express all you'll have to do is buy shocks

Your welcome glad i could help.

I have RC long arm upgrade. The flex joints have gone out 4 times in 6 months. they work great up intill about the 3rd obstacle on the first trial run. Now worth the effort in replacing with the RC joints, They are X-Flex BS joints. You could just buy Currie joints and then there would be no issues with the "kit" but that adds almost $180 after tax/shipping.

I have seen the IRO kit, but haven't owned it. Seams to work/flex well. Haven't seen an issue yet. But the adjustable upper mount would make me nervous.

I'm leaning back towards RC right now, and maybe adding those currie joints. If all I really have to worry about is those joints, then it sounds like a good kit. It just looks beefy and strong, plus you get the disco's and the skid, which I would have to add to the IRO kit. Hmmm,. I'm ordering Friday so I hope I can make a decision by then LOL

When it comes down to it I just want a decent performing long arm, thats going to hold up to abuse, and ride decent on the street. Like I said, i'm not looking to win any flex competitions, or go rock crawling.... just want to know I can

The joints may last a long time then if your not planning on being hard on it. Atleast run them till they wear out before getting the currie joints.

Do what? So you're here trying to tell us all that rusty's welds are good on everything but the track bar? if they can't weld around one piece of tubing... then how the hell are they going to make all good welds in all the places needed on a long arm kit? If they can't weld, or don't pay attention to their welding, then they just can't weld... doesn't matter which part they're doing it on. You better keep that thing off the street before you hurt someone....

You make me laugh, the bushings suck, their shocks arnt much better nor are their tc drop kits. I've seen many in the shop junked from the rubicon and even just the street. Not to mention on ifs trucks the torsion bars snap and sag after 2 years.
Second rustys have bad tracbars ill say first off, minor design flaw, but the overall quality of the rest of their parts is awesome. I have seen them on the rubicon and done just fine. I've seen RC and they pop and break bushings, RE is flawless and if you go custom the right way wmyou won't have any problems either.
I've worked on and seen these things sirs, quote me and call me dumb again and more knowledge shall be shoved up urs :P

Product and the way they handle money are seperate issues. Especial when they were not owned by another company and were independent. I can throw examples like that at YOU all day.... I rock RE and its flawless, granted its a wee pricey and jeep specific sooo maybe thats why they went under.... hmmmmmm jeep only market high prices.... hmmmm use your brain....
