Default Interior upgrades, what have you done?

I’m looking for ideas on how to upgrade my interior, ideas welcome!

I just upgraded my base level interior with some wood trim off a country or Wagoneer, anyone done anything similar, and have suggestions on what to add? I already have the wood dash, just waiting to install it once I finish repainting.

You have to have coffee cup holders! I guess 4 in your case.

... and a GPS mount.

No E-brake? Where'd you get those cup holders? I haven't seen them mounted to that spot before. I have the kind that hang off the side where the passenger's legs go, not ideal.

That pic is of my MJ so I guess it's "half right" for the OP's project. I made one for my XJ too. It's basically 14g metal that I bent into an angle and attached to the console with Velcro (no holes drilled). The cups are actually ash trays that were designed to fit into auto cup holders. They came with a plastic chrome top that I removed and tossed. Thermos travel mugs, which I like, fit perfectly (no rattles).

Oh, duh. Looks good, I may borrow this idea. It looks like it wouldn't interfere with the e-brake function on XJs.

Borrow away! It works well as a coffee / water bottle holder and doesn't interfere with the XJ e-brake handle or the passenger's left leg.
