does anyone else have this kind of interior? its not cloth or leather, maybe its some sort of vinyl???? ive seen many cherokees, but never any with this kind of interior. is this a rare option or something??? just wondering....

My cousin has a tan version of that in his Cherokee.
It has fake wood trim on the side of it as well.
I think he said it is a Brier-wood edition or something like that.
But his is falling apart. The "Plether" for lack of a better term has more holes in it then you can shake a stick at!

 

it was used.. in cherokee from 84-87...87 was the last year for it that I have seen never seen it in a Jeep newer then 87... but i have also heard they were used in the newer version of the police Jeep...

 

I believe it was a special order option for commercial accounts and not available to retail customers at the dealer...
