Is that so when you get into a crash you have a nice heavy Maglite aimed right at you or your GF's head?

Smart . . . maybe put a fire extinguisher on whichever pillar doesn't get the light and you could get a 2-fer.

Don't forget to change the sending units for the water temp and oil pressure gauge. They are different from the idiot light cluster sending units.

Yup - got the oil sender but missed identifying the water temp sender at the JY - just $32 for cluster, woodgrain dash inset and oil sender, BTW. Will get that water sender on my next trip..

Got my mag mounts today...should I mount to the carpeted area on the trans tunnel or on the plastic part by the transfer case shifter?

Default Mag Lite wont help me

Where to mount that lite? A little interior mod to aid drainage on those deep water crossings.

Sorry. i took a while. I used quarter inch electrical wire holder the kind you use when you are running small wire around your house. I screwed it in with a self tapping sheet metal screw.

Today i went to lowes and they had a coax cable clips that were black and beefy. If you took out the screw in the middle and ran a bolt and nut instead it would be bullet proof.
