Default Installing a 99+ intake manifold on a 96

Hi all, I have this about all figured out except the vacuum lines and IAT sensor relocation. Can anyone snap a pic or 2 of their pre 99 XJ upgraded to the 99+ intake manifold? I want to make sure it's tip top. Also one of my vacuum lines cracked in half(super glued right now) when I was installing my apn header. Can I essentially just buy a certain gauge black rubber tubing and use those for vacuum lines? I think that would be a lot easier to work with than the plastic vacuum lines that come stock and they crack easily. Thanks in advance.

:Edit: Oh and one more thing do I need a new fuel pressure regulator for the new 703 injectors?

Holy. ****. I winged it and I DID IT. 99+ intake manifold, and Apn header ARE ON and functioning splendidly. No vacuum leaks, idles good, revs good. Man, talk about seat of your pants this thing moves!

Now the bad thing I snapped a throttle body bolt. Hopefully I can get it out but it snapped so the TB is secured tightly to the intake manifold.

How did you mount the power steering pump? Did you use the 99+ brackets?

On the 96 the pump is exactly the same as the 99. I did the same swap.
I extended one vac line with a piece of rubber hose and extended the IAT wires with 16 gauge wire. The 703s drop right in, then just reset the ECU.

I plan on doing the swap on my ZJ, but the belt driven accessories are aranged differently than an XJ, so now I'm scratching my head of how I'm going to mount the P/S pump.

Exactly the same as mine. I had to do some minimal grinding under the 6th Intake runner to get it to fit with the APN header. It still wouldn't want to sit all the way flush so I tightened the bolts down and it was flush. Glad I have skinny arms I went to the junkyard and pulled some wiring from a XJ to reroute the IAT. Rerouted the vacuum lines with different gauge vacuum line hose I got from Pepboys, they sell it by the foot in the parts department. No power steering bracket needed on 96's. Ratcheting wrenches saved my life on this one when I installed just the APN header it took me 6 hours with normal wrenches. Got ratcheting wrenches and the install took me 3 hours start to finish plus I knew what I was doing this time haha. They're worth the high price tag and you're able to torque bolts down better.

Here's some pictures:

I know this post is old but which vac line did you extend and what size hose was it? I can get 1/4" vac hose at O'Riellys for like 60 cents a foot. I am doing this swap this weekend along with header, 703s, and cowl intake. from the pic, I need to pick up to caps. Also, how did you do your fuel line bracket? Basically I need a parts list if possible. The closer the weekend gets the more I start second guessing myself if I can do it. Thank you in advance!
