Installing a 99' 4.0l h.o. into 88 xj
Hello everyone, new to the forms. I have an 88 xj, with no engine, and don't have the core. But i have trans t case etc installed. The 88 has the renix wiring and ecu etc. I have recently acquired a wrecked 1999 xj. Im wanting to take the 99 h.o. and install it into my 88. Can i just scrap all the old harness and renix setup, and use the harness and ecu mounts accessories etc from the 1999 donor jeep. And install it all into my 1988. I have the ax-15 trans.
